First day of Summer!
Spent the day at a BBQ with some friends. While it isn't an attraction in the TwinCities, I would call it one this summer, especially when it was snowing just last week. All the kids had a great time playing out in the yard.
Thanks Ryan for hosting!
Becca couldn't get enough of the lawnmower.
Gavin and his crazy hair.
Becca taking after her papa and learning to follow through with her swing.
Thanks Ryan for hosting!

Objective
Objective: To see how much we can experience during the summer of 2013 without breaking the bank.
During the past couple of summers our family got out and visited quite a few things. We went camping, trips to the zoo and overnight trips out of the cities. With everything that we have done, I never felt as prepared as I should have. Everything seemed last minute, which is fun but often expensive. I would hear about a lot of things other people did after the fact and wish I would have known about that or found out after paying $16 a person to get into something that if I went on a different day it would have been free. That is all changing this year. After doing some research and planning, I have found a summers worth of things to do. The best part is that most of the things are free. My goal is to document everything this sumer and take you along for the journey.
